we believe
- in one God who comes to us in three persons:
- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
- that God reveals himself to us through the Holy Spirit and the Bible and through his Son, Jesus
- that God created the world and that people, created in God's image, find ultimate fulfilment in God
- that because of self-centered disobedience, people are separated from God and so face an eternal death
- that God offers to rescue us through faith in Jesus
- that God's rescue is offered freely to anyone who will accept it
- that the Bible as our primary guide for life and faith
- true faith is expressed not only in words, but also by the way we live from day to day
- that the values of a Jesus-follower are profoundly different from the values of this world; our highest aspiration is to serve God by humbly serving others
- we practice church life as a family of believers committed to mutual love and care. All believers are "ministers" in the church.
- that Jesus the Prince of Peace, is our model for living and the answer to human need, hostility, and violence; he commands us to respect life, love all people (even our enemies), reconcile broken relationships and pursue justice.
